ADULT MEDICINE

Your needs change as you get older.  From the diagnosis and treatment of chronic conditions to your annual checkup, our centers will provide a lifetime of personalized medicine.

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

PTCHC offers mental health assessment and treatment, as well as psychiatric consultation.  Therapy is available for individuals, couples, and families.  Our skilled therapists offer many modalities including (but not limited to) DBT, CBT, supportive, and EMDR.  Case management services are also available for connection to a variety of resources including housing, food assistance, transportation and employment services.  We also assist with applications for Medicaid, SNAP, and disability. 

FAMILY MEDICINE

Our family medicine physicians can provide outstanding care for your entire family through every stage of life.   They offer treatment for acute and chronic illnesses, as well as education and preventative services like child exams and pap smears. 

DENTAL CARE

Full dental program including routine check-ups, cleanings, x-rays, restorative work, crowns, bridges, dentures, root canal therapy, and extractions.   

LABORATORY

Laboratory tests often play a critical role in your diagnosis and treatment.  Each of our health centers can handle your basic lab testing needs.

PHARMACY

We maintain full service pharmacies throughout our service areas with programs in place to help families reduce or eliminate their prescription drug bills.

MISSION STATEMENT:  The mission of the organization is to provide quality comprehensive primary healthcare services to the residents of our four-county service area of Preston, Taylor, Tucker, and Grant Counties regardless of their ability to pay.  This is accomplished through the provision of primary care services that are culturally sensitive and relevant to the needs of the community .

FTCA

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), in accordance with the Federally Supported Health Centers Assistance Act (FSHCAA), as amended, sections 224(g)-(n) of the Public Health Service (PHS) Act, 42 U.S.C. §§ 233(g)-(n), deemed Preston-Taylor Community Health Centers, Inc.  to be an employee of the PHS, for the purposes of section 224, effective 1/1/2021 through 12/31/2021. Section 224(a) of the PHS Act provides liability protection under the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA), 28 U.S.C. §§ 1346(b), 2672, or by alternative benefits provided by the United States where the availability of such benefits precludes a remedy under the FTCA, for damage for personal injury, including death, resulting from the performance of medical, surgical, dental, or related functions by PHS employees while acting within the scope of such employment. Medical malpractice coverage is confirmed for both Community Health Systems, Inc. and its covered individuals.
